Daniel Schwaab
Dr. Daniel Schwaab is the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Sustainability, Recycling at TOMRA. In his role, he is responsible for determining the division’s strategic direction and is an influential business player for TOMRA’s overall business. Daniel recently researched and established the company’s Holistic Resource Systems approach and continually pursues new business opportunities. Through his work with numerous organizations in the industry, he focuses his efforts on accelerating the transition to a circular economy and actively engages with stakeholders across the plastic value chain. Before joining TOMRA in 2014, Daniel developed the business for thermally conductive polymer additives for SGL Group and held several noteworthy positions in investment banking and consulting. Daniel Schwaab earned his PhD in physics from RWTH Aachen in 2006.
