Plantics B.V. is a spin-off from the University of Amsterdam and develops Superior Natural Materials, based on a unique group of 100% biobased thermoset resins. Together with partner Vepa, Plantics was elected as winner of the global innovation award ‘Renewable Material of the Year 2021’.
Martijn holds a history of commercial and managerial roles in multinational and SME companies, combining business with sustainability. His focus in Plantics is on further commercializing 100% biobased materials that, amongst other things, are an alternative for fossil-based plastics.
